In 1848, most of the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood was land claimed by Clinton Kelly, a Methodist minister from Kentucky. In 1889, the neighborhood was named after Sir Walter Scott’s 1821 novel, Kenilworth – a romantic story set in Elizabethan England. Many of the streets in the neighborhood are named from this novel, and other novels by Scott. Now, this neighborhood is primarily residential, with some fantastic gems!
