EDGE Commercial Real Estate has named Christina Martin as the firm’s new director of property management in Washington, D.C. In her new role, Martin will oversee all operational aspects of the company’s portfolio.
Prior to joining EDGE, Martin built a career spanning more than 15 years with Investment Properties. Starting as an assistant property manager in 2003, she advanced through the organization to the role of president in 2016.
Martin is a Certified Commercial Investment Member and is licensed as a Certified Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She graduated from Shepherd University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science.
According to Yardi Matrix, EDGE manages some 850,000 square feet of office space in the wider D.C. metro. The majority of the assets in the firm’s management portfolio are in suburban areas and range from 50,000 to 100,000 square feet. One of the property’s owners, Federal Realty, inked a 150,000-square-foot lease with PUMA North America at one of its Boston developments earlier this year.
