Metro expands urban growth boundary to add more than 9,000 new homes to the region

Another 9,200 homes could be joining the metro region in the coming years thanks to a vote by the Metro Council yesterday.

The unanimous vote approved four metro-area cities’ plans to expand the urban growth boundary by nearly 2,200 acres.
