New Land aims for active city living in new Urbanite high-rise: Slideshow

Tim Gokhman pulled design concepts from hotels when designing the lobby space for the 153-unit Urbanite apartment high-rise in Milwaukee.

The building’s lobby is intended to be an active place for residents to bump into new acquaintances, said Gokhman, director of Milwaukee-based New Land Enterprises. New Land and Wiechmann Enterprises built the Urbanite, which opened to tenants in October. See the attached slideshow for a look into the newly completed, 13-story building at 1840 N. Farwell Ave.
