Reopening date of the Amazon sorting center on Holabird Avenue uncertain

Engineers and developers from Duke Realty continue to assess the damage to an Amazon.com Inc. warehouse in Southeast Baltimore in the wake of a tornado Friday night that caused a portion of the structure to collapse killing two workers.

The warehouse, used for its Prime Now service, remained closed Monday. A spokeswoman for Duke, the Indianapolis-based owner of the facility located off of Holabird Avenue, said it was unclear when it would reopen.
