Taking you on my out and about adventure as I drive in Studio City, Beverly Hills, Beverly Glen and Mulholland Drive California while I get my Starbucks coffee. Many celebrity homes are in this area. You can also take tours if you’re interested in checking out the mansions of where the stars live.
I filmed this video in the style of Casey Neistat. I’ll be doing more vlogs as I hit the town in Los Angeles and many surrounding areas.
Beverly Glen is a Beverly Crest neighborhood located around Beverly Glen Boulevard north of Sunset Boulevard and south of Mulholland Drive. Stone Canyon Reservoir lies in the neighborhood. The neighborhood of Beverly Glen is located within the ZIP codes of 90210 and 90077. Residents living in Beverly Glen access their homes primarily by use of Beverly Glen Boulevard, which is a busy thoroughfare for drivers between the Century City/Westwood area and the San Fernando Valley. At the top of the canyon, Bel Air Ridge and Bel Air Glen are planned developments with tennis courts and community pools built in the 1970s and ’80s.
Mulholland Drive is a street and road in the eastern Santa Monica Mountains of Southern California. It is named after pioneering Los Angeles civil engineer William Mulholland. The western rural portion in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties is named Mulholland Highway. The road is featured in innumerable movies, songs, and novels. David Lynch, whose film Mulholland Drive is suffused with the atmosphere of the road, once said that one can feel “the history of Hollywood” on it.
The main portion of the road, from Cahuenga Pass in Hollywood westward past Sepulveda Pass, was originally called Mulholland Highway and was opened in 1924. It was built by a consortium of developers investing in the Hollywood Hills. DeWitt Reaburn, the construction engineer responsible for the project, said while it was being built, “The Mulholland Highway is destined to be one of the heaviest traveled and one of the best known scenic roads in the United States.”
