Ackerman & Co. has sold two industrial buildings located within its Stone Mountain Industrial Park in metro Atlanta. The Stone Mountain, Ga., campus is situated just outside the Interstate 285 perimeter and offers facilities of up to 293,000 square feet each.
E L Supermarket Distributors Inc. acquired a 30,072-square-foot building located at 1564 McCurdy Drive for $1.3 million. The food distributor will move to the new location during this year’s first quarter, leaving its current Norcross, Ga., warehouse.
Kronos Property Management has acquired the second asset, a 40,000-square-foot industrial building situated at 2101 Tucker Industrial Road, for $1.8 million. The company will use the warehouse to provide third-party logistics services.
In-house brokers Brett Buckner, Jimmy Stevens and Major Martin represented Ackerman in both transactions. The buyers were assisted by Mark Light of Lighthouse Realty Advisors and Patrick Yi of Sunny Home Realty, respectively.
Ackerman & Co. acquired the 4.1 million-square-foot Tucker/Stone Mountain industrial portfolio in November 2015. Since March 2018, the company has traded a total of seven buildings in Stone Mountain Industrial Park for $15 million.
Last December, Ackerman sold another Atlanta-area industrial property, encompassing roughly 1 million square feet, for $70 million.
